The Marilisa Allegrini group closed 2025 with increased growth and looks ahead to 2026 with enthusiasm and confidence

The Marilisa Allegrini Group, founded in 2024, closes 2025 with a turnover of 11.1 million euros (+5.7% compared to the previous year), in line with expectations and showing growth compared to the previous year. This result confirms the cogency of the project, which is still evolving and perfectly aligned with the current context, uniting three iconic regions: Valpolicella with Villa Della Torre, Bolgheri with Poggio al Tesoro, and Montalcino with San Polo. The Group is committed to a path of consolidation and growth and aims to integrate wine and hospitality in a more harmonious way, plant new vineyards, and increase production capacity. These efforts consistently and tangibly express its premium identity.

International performance has been strong, with exports accounting for 57% of sales: in the United States, for example, the Group has not been significantly affected by the impact of tariffs, thanks to its in-depth knowledge of the markets and the established credibility of its ownership and management. Of particular note is our collaboration with Wilson Daniels Wholesale, a leading operator in the fine wines segment and a prestigious international partner. This strategic choice aims to enhance the quality positioning of Villa Della Torre’s wines. Last year, the Group entered 23 new international markets, including smaller markets such as Ghana, Kenya, and New Zealand. While these markets did not immediately impact revenue, they demonstrate our brands’ ability to establish themselves as global benchmarks. Other strategic markets, such as Switzerland, Germany, and Northern Europe, further consolidated their position, confirming the consistency and strength of our international strategy.

The Italian market recorded significant growth (37% in 2025, up from 30% in 2024). This growth was driven by Villa Della Torre wines and the Peaks & Valleys brand, which achieved €600,000 in revenue in its first year alone. With its contemporary style, Peaks & Valleys continues to stand out among Veronese wines.

We are particularly pleased with the results achieved in Italy: the new project begins with the promotion of our beloved Valpolicella. At the same time, we are proud of the results from San Polo and the milestones achieved by Poggio al Tesoro. Last fall, for the first time, our Bolgheri winery was selected to participate in the New York Wine Experience, one of the most prestigious events in the world, hosted by Wine Spectator. In a few days, Poggio al Tesoro will also debut at OperaWine 2026. This flood of national and international accolades validates our journey, built over the years with passion, dedication, and consistency. Another source of great personal satisfaction is Dedicato a Walter's recent 4th place ranking in the Gentleman ranking, which confirms that our commitment to quality, identity, and personality in our wines continues to be appreciated and recognized. Every achievement is the result of teamwork. From my family to our collaborators and everyone who shares our vision, we transform every challenge into an opportunity and every milestone into an incentive to grow. In the coming years, I want to pass on my story and write my personal legacy for future generations: a legacy that is recognizable and authentic, born from who we are and what we have built over time. It is a story of Italian wine that does not seek to be grander but truer, rooted in our winegrowing areas and respectful of their differences. It is capable of interpreting their soul with contemporary sensitivity. It is a unique story because it is personal, based on consistent choices, vision, and responsibility. It is simple because it is essential and free of artifice. It is profound because it is linked to time, culture, and the people who make it possible every day. Our wines find their voice in this balance between identity, winegrowing area, and vision, becoming an expression of not only quality but also a way of being and thinking about Italian wine. This journey is made possible by an invaluable team of collaborators. They share my vision and support it with dedication, expertise, and trust, step by step, day by day”, comments Marilisa Allegrini, President of the Marilisa Allegrini Group and Knight of The Order of Merit for Labor (Cavaliere del Lavoro).

This growth trajectory is underscored by a series of innovations and new initiatives that have already been launched in the first months of the year. First and foremost, the team is evolving and expanding with the arrival of Francesco Pezzati, the new San Polo winemaker, and Claudio Onorati, the new Head of IT and Digital Transformation, in Montalcino. Over the two-year period from 2025 to 2026, the Group made 24 new hires, maintaining an average age below 40.

There are also new developments on the product front. The Peaks & Valleys journey continues with the presentation of a new wine at Vinitaly 2026: the Valpolicella Ripasso ‘Una volta sola’. This wine is summed up by the phrase “only once in the age-old way” (“‘na olta sola a la vecia maniera”) which evokes the historic production method of passing a light Valpolicella over the pomace of Amarone (in a 1:1 ratio).

In terms of hospitality, the group is consistently pursuing its development path through significant projects. Spazio Te, the bistro at Palazzo Te in Mantua, was recently reopened as a meeting place and venue for hospitality under the management of Villa Della Torre, which also oversaw the renovation. The partnership between the Palazzo Te Foundation and Villa Della Torre, launched in 2022 and led respectively by Stefano Baia Curioni (Director of Palazzo Te) and Caterina Sofia Mastella Allegrini, continues to strengthen. This collaboration reflects a shared vision of successfully combining cultural promotion with high-quality hospitality. It is an initiative that highlights the beauty of Italy’s heritage through its products, which are an integral part of its authentic expression.

The upcoming opening of the ‘Le Sondraie’ Hub in Bolgheri, a property owned by the group and managed by Carlotta Mastella Allegrini, also aligns with this strategy. It is intended to strengthen the group’s presence and offerings in the hospitality sector.

Also scheduled for release in September is the podcast ‘Dove porta la strada’, produced by Chora Media in collaboration with the Marilisa Allegrini Group. The podcast features the journalists Mario Calabresi and Graziano Nani.
