Flavor, Art, Culture, and Beauty. These are the keywords underpinning “Dove porta la strada” (Where the road leads), the new project by Chora Media in collaboration with the Marilisa Allegrini Group. Mario Calabresi opens the podcast as the narrator of the first episode. The next three episodes are hosted by Graziano Nani.

In the podcast, the company’s founders share their stories: Marilisa Allegrini (Order of Merit for Labor), Giancarlo, and their daughters, Carlotta and Caterina. The story begins on the Sondraie road in Bolgheri, where the history of Poggio al Tesoro began in 2001. From there, the journey extends to Montalcino and San Polo before heading further north to Valpolicella and Villa Della Torre. Four stories, three wineries, one family.

The first episode, La strada di Marilisa Allegrini, features Mario Calabresi in conversation with the company’s founder, Marilisa Allegrini. They discuss her journey from Veneto to Tuscany and back to her roots, her transition from the health sector to the world of my wine, and how she created an entrepreneurial venture that brings the true meaning of heritage to life by balancing a sense of belonging to the land with new outlooks.

Giancarlo, Carlotta, and Caterina each bring their own background to the story: Giancarlo has a background in teaching and a career in writing and communication. Carlotta has a scientific background and a medical degree. Caterina has a Ph.D. in philosophy.

Together, they provide a roadmap that tells the story of the family, their insights, and their courageous choices. It looks toward the future of wine and the new generations who will experience it.
